This standard specialty quality coffee is dry-processed, meaning the beans are patio-dried while remaining in the cherry. Since the coffees are dried with the sweet mucilage, the resulting cup is heavy in body, sweet, smooth, and complex. The 17/18 screen size has a more consistent flavor without the pungent fruit notes in smaller screen sized beans, which indicates varying bean maturity. Our chemical-free decaf comes from a wide array of origins, all going through the same decaffeinating process. It works through diffusion and not osmosis, utilizing elements of water, temperature, and time, maintaining as many original notes from the coffee as possible and making the most intriguing decaf coffees.
