I first discovered this coffee while judging the Nicaragua Cup of Excellence in 2012. I then met with Luis Alberto at his Beneficio and saw first hand the care he takes with every step of the process, as well as the care he has for his fellow producers who bring their coffee to his mill. In the years that followed, we have continued to strengthen our relationship with Luis, and are proud to call him and his family friends. This carefully washed process coffee has a profile that tastes like white grape and nectarine, with a honeydew melon sweetness, and a delightful almond and cocoa finish.
