A medium-full bodied coffee with a rich aroma. Its unique sweet notes and dark chocolate are mixed with a juicy finish. Not far from Guatemala City youll find Pea Blanca an exclusive coffee farm and one of our favorite located in the famous Sierra de las Minas. This mountainous country is where coffee cultivation fits right in. The volcanic soils, elevation and climate are all conductive for the development of this delicious specialty coffee.Salvador Melgar grew up at Pea Blanca, his fathers coffee farm at Palencias, under the famous Sierra de Las Minas mountains in North East Guatemala. He is preserving the culture of coffee farming for his family and for the land. He specializes in the Bourbon, Pache, and Catual varieties due to their higher quality, even though they produce a lower volume than other varieties.
