Situated among a beautifully dramatic landscape, the Gaseke Village coffee farms face the Congo Nile Crest on one side and Lake Kivu on the other. The farm resides at a high altitude between 6000-7000 feet above sea level. The biodiversity within the rich volcanic soil keeps the coffee plants healthy and biologically sustainable. The favorable elevation, soil, temperatures and rainfalls in conjunction with the hard work of the Gaseke farmers, results in a beautiful crop that grows slowly and matures to the highest density. Roasted full city right here in our roasters. This cup possesses a crisp, bright full flavor with tremendous body.
The biggest challenge for coffee farmers is the low income they receive for the coffee. This coffee is purchased directly from the farm (farm-direct) ensuring sustainability and income for these farmers for generations to come.
