Jorge Mendez started as a picker in farms in the San Pedro Necta. He saved money with his wife until they had enough to buy a small piece of land. From there he took his coffee knowlege and worked the land gaining an even better scope of what makes coffee tick. He is dedicated to producing the highest quality possible. He is a fantastic example of working with mother nature to prosper together. This mix of bourbon and caturra shows his hard work and the beautiful profiles Guatemala has to offer. With a juicy red grape forward profile and a citrus backbone, this beautiful coffee finishes with hints of soft chocolate and a touch of cherry.
